Fall 2010

My poor, poor neglected blog! Things have just been so busy since I started back to work. And today in particular was from hell. After taking Barney to the vet at 7:30 this morning and getting Jackson to school at 7:45, I had to get to my job on the other side of town. And thankfully I was already on my way home when I got a call from Jackson's school that he was having trouble breathing and needed me to pick him up. I picked him up and took him straight to the doctor. He could hardly breathe and he couldn't talk. He was barking like a seal. It sounded just awful. Well, he has croop. Boo. So then we go to Walgreen's, get his steroid medication.

Then go pick Barney up at the vet. He has a horrible ear infection and his skin is just in bad shape due to allergies. He is just a walking yeast infection. So he's on medication now too. Hopefully I won't mix up who gets what medication. Just kidding!


We went to Honeysuckle Hill Farms for our pumpkin patch visit again this year. Here are a few pictures from our day!

Last Sunday I met a friend of mine out at the lake to take some pictures of her two cute boys! I have lots to edit, but here are a few. I just need to learn when to stop editing. I could do it for hours! Aren't they cute? I'm pretty pleased with how some of them turned out, but I still want a new camera for Christmas. Mine is SHOT!

I Love a Tennessee Fall!

A few weeks ago Jackson and I went to Missouri to see the Delta Fair parade. We were only there for two nights, but he looks forward to it every year! This was our crew waiting on the parade. Jackson absolutely loves a the parade, especially when candy is being thrown his way.

This is the bucket he brought to put all of his candy in! I think he got it about a third of the way full!

This is my pumpkin topiary...or pumpkin snowman, however you want to look at it. I really needed pumpkins of three varying sizes, but it ended up kind of being all the same size. It was fun anyway. But I don't think it will make it to Halloween. The sun is just baking them! So I'll probably have some new ones before Halloween!
